Columbus Square looks like a Circle

'Tis Columbus Square on 59th Street West Side, where Central Park starts its 800-acre sprawl. Here I am enjoying the sights like a regular tourist, aboard an uptown bus.
The subway is awfully efficient in speed and stations, but buses, if one has the time, offer the most in visual interest.
This Square after sunset is a favorite tryst spot of couples. We came one warm night to enjoy the fountains and light. But it's hard to relax when two people a mere seat away from you are both trying really hard to suck each others mouths off.
Ah well, amour.
